Festivals form an important part our lives. Festivals come in various kinds. Some festivals are cultural, some national and some religious. Despite the various kinds in which they come, they all mean one thing and that is celebration. Dussera is one such festival.

According to Hindu mythology, it is said that Ravana kidnapped Lord Rama’s wife Sita. However, he was killed by Lord Rama and that’s why this festival is celebrated as a victory of good over evil.

Students all over Daksya Academy celebrated Dussera by re-creating scenes from Ramayan and cultural activities.
